Born Susan Elizabeth Pease in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 12, 1975.  She excelled in the arts at a young age. Suzy has won numerous prestigious awards, including the United States Congressional Arts competition and the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Golden Key.       She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1999 with a Bachelor Degree of Studio Art, concentrating on both Fine Art and Graphic Design.   Upon graduation, she accepted a position with Springfield Public Schools and completed her Art Education Certificate at Westfield State College in the year 2000. Susan moved to Agawam and joined the Agawam Community Artists Group, where she exhibited artwork and participated in art workshops.     In 2005, Suzy accepted an art position with the Pasco County School District and moved south to Florida in which she shared her love of creating art with her students. Suzy taught within the community until 2010.     In the Fall of 2010, she sold off the majority of her belongings and headed off on a most spontaneous cross country adventure to the far west in Arizona. The allure of the natural beauty of the Arizona Desert and the native spirituality was something Suzy needed to explore. She began studying at Arizona State University Masters Level under the guidance of World renown Ceramicist, Kurt Weiser, Professor Patricia Sannit and Intermedia Professor Gregory Sale. With the help of those mentors Suzy uncoverd her “Deeper Soul” and continued to expand and hone her skills and imagination by producing thought provoking videos and sensational sculptures. She received accolades from her mentors and art lovers alike with every new concept or piece produced. ..........Straight A’s are not bad either!!!       In 2012, Susan returned to the St. Petersburg Beach Art Scene. She is currently working in her studio Imagine Design Studios, Inc. on multiple commissioned sculptures.     Suzy’s Art was Recently displayed inside the Tampa Museum of Art.
